Begin at the renowned Samburu National Reserve, a northern wilderness famed for its unique wildlife, including the rare Grevy’s zebra, Rothschild’s giraffe, and the elegant gerenuk. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, celebrated for its vibrant flocks of flamingos and thriving populations of white rhinos. Your adventure then leads to Lake Naivasha, passing along the legendary safari rally routes, before concluding at the breathtaking Amboseli National Park, where sweeping plains provide a perfect backdrop to the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro

Depart Nairobi and journey north through the fertile White Highlands, where vast coffee, tea, and pineapple plantations dominate the landscape. Pause at Nanyuki to cross the equator before continuing to Samburu National Reserve.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodge.
Spend the day exploring Samburu with both morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is set along the Ewaso Nyiro River, which acts as a lifeline for wildlife and separates it from Buffalo Springs Reserve.
Covering 165 km², Samburu is home to the rare “Samburu Special Five”: Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. The reserve also shelters over 900 elephants, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. It is also the home of Kamunyak, the famous lioness known for adopting an oryx calf.

After breakfast, depart Samburu for Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across this 24,000-acre private ranch, with sweeping views of Mount Kenya’s snow-capped peaks.
Sweetwaters is home to the Big Five and boasts one of the highest wildlife-to-area ratios in Kenya. It also hosts a renowned chimpanzee sanctuary, established in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute, offering rescued chimps a safe and natural environment.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping en route at Thomson’s Falls for photos. Arrive at the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its abundant birdlife, with over 400 recorded species, including flamingos, pelicans, and fish eagles. The park is also a sanctuary for endangered species such as the black and white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe.

After an early breakfast and a final game drive, depart for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, visit Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can cycle or walk among dramatic cliffs and gorges.
After lunch, enjoy a tranquil boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and diverse birdlife, before visiting Crescent Island for a guided walking safari.

After breakfast, head south to Amboseli National Park, famed for its dramatic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large elephant herds. Arrive in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Amboseli is home to four of the Big Five and is a paradise for photographers thanks to its swamps, acacia forests, and sweeping savannahs.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli on morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day excursion with picnic lunch. The park’s varied landscapes—swamps, acacia woodland, and open plains—host diverse wildlife, from lions and cheetahs to giraffes and buffalo.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which looms over the park just across the border in Tanzania.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, then return for breakfast. After check-out, drive back to Nairobi, arriving by early afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
